Offshore bottom fishing at its best! Captain Greg Macfarlane and First Mate Nick Arthur are the best one-two-punch in Florida when it comes to Grouper, Snapper, Amber Jack, & King Fish. On this trip I took one of my employees from Bailey’s Hardware, Greg. Greg has never been saltwater fishing before. I knew the best way to get him hooked would be a school of Amber Jack and I was right. Greg already wants to go back, and for that matter, so do I. The best way to describe this trip is after 20 minutes of fishing I turned to the Capt and said, “I need a break” and yes he commented on my skirt. The fish are big and powerful, you’re hooked up every time you drop your line. After your day on the water the Capt will take you to a great little restaurant the Angry Pepper. Here they will filet your fish, fill your cooler and have the chef prepare the catch to your liking at an outstanding price. Yes, it was good. These guys are hardcore fisherman when they are not on a charter they are commercial fishing with rod & reel. Supplying the local restaurants with fresh fish, so needless to say they know where the fish are at all times.
